The Catholic Church Has Surprising Reason to Support Birth Control Methods
Religion plays a large role in birth control and reproductive rights beliefs. Perhaps one of the largest opponents of birth control use has historically been the catholic church. In a surprising twist, Cardinal Peter Turkson, from Ghana, recently voiced his belief that the use of natural birth control may help alleviate food shortage resulting from global warming.
It’s important to note that the Cardinal is speaking of natural birth control methods, the Vatican still doesn’t give its blessing to artificial forms of birth control.
Not sure what ‘natural birth control methods’ are?
