A Look Back…
You made it! As 2017 comes to a close, we’re reflecting back on all of life’s precious gifts and experiences we’ve received this year — love, good health, empowerment, friendship, hard lessons, and the little things that bring us the most happiness.
Women empowering women
We are all about women empowering women, and we saw so much of that in 2017! From the Women’s March in January celebrated worldwide, to the ongoing fight for gender pay equality and women’s reproductive rights, to the strength of women standing up for themselves and advocating against sexual assault and harassment, this year was all about the power and strength of the woman.
Doing good through PRJKT RUBY
It was also a year of doing good. We, and so many others, have played a part in spreading good and positivity to our sisters around the world. Our TakeCare, GiveCare campaign has helped women in developing countries get access to the birth control and family planning services that they need. By trusting PRJKT RUBY with your contraceptive needs, we are able to do so much good far beyond our borders.
Goals for 2018
So as we look back on 2017, we are incredibly proud to see all the work we have done and can’t wait to continue to grow in the years to come. As you start scribbling down your list of New Year’s Resolutions such as getting into shape, saving up money, or cutting out sweets (ugh!), we challenge you to add in a concrete way to empower women in 2018. This can be as simple as donating to a cause like our TakeCare, GiveCare campaign, volunteering your time at a local clinic, or speaking up for those whose voices may not be as loud as yours.
